Palatschinke (plural Palatschinken) is the Austrian and Bavarian German name of the thin, crêpe-like variety of pancake common in Central Europe.
A delicious hungarian recipe with crepes involves layering crepes into a torte with raspberry jam and ground almonds in between each layer, and then drizzling melted chocolate over the top. Yum. Its a bit of a time consuming recipe, because it involves making a large stack of similar sized crepes.
